Construction
Mitts are worked in the round and begin at the wrist with a rick-rack edging. Then hand and thumb gusset are knit in half Stockinette st and half net stitch. The thumb and fingerwell are edged with garter stitch. You may make the mitts longer after finishing the thumb gusset by adding repeats of the net stitch pattern. Each pattern repeat will add about .5” [1.5 cm].
