Fundamental Top-Down Junior Cardigan
This basic children’s cardigan pattern is perfect for beginner knitters or any knitter who wants to use self-patterning yarns, highly textured yarns, or any yarn that just needs to be the star of the show. The pattern's blank canvas is also great for stripes or embroidered embellishments. Pattern includes instructions for crew neck and V neck and knitting from the top down produces a seamless garment that is easily custom-fit. (Makes at least 24 different sweaters!)

Construction
Knit from the top down with raglan shaping, this cardigan is a seamless garment that is easily custom-fit. Sleeves are knit from the top down in the round and button/ buttonhole bands and neck edging are worked after picking up stitches around front opening. Instructions include the option of crew neck or V neck. Makes at least 24 different sweaters! Suggested positive ease of approx 4” [10 cm].
