Each stripe of the little blanket is a different stitch pattern, and the other pieces knit up quickly in the round. The “Charlie Brown” zigzag is done in duplicate stitch after finishing. Newborn size.

• Worsted weight yarn, approx 475 yds [434 m] each MC and CC for blanket, approx 80 yds [73 m] CC and 240 yds [219.5 m] MC for hat, sweater, and booties
• US Size 7 [4.5 mm] 16” & 24” circular needles or size needed to achieve gauge
• US size 7 [4.5 mm] dpn set of five
• US size E-4 [3.5 mm] crochet needle

20 sts & 24 rows = 4” [10 cm] in St st, after blocking

Construction
Blanket is knit from end to end in one piece. Sweater and hat are knit in the round from the bottom up. Booties are begun with garter-stitch sole and then stitches are picked up for shaping the upper section with I-cord tie made separately and attached.
